In one of his earlier escapades, Jiraiya saves a young child whose step father was about to through him into a gorge. He was a chivalrous robber that stole from the rich and gave to the poor. His family fell on hard time, either that or his brother stripped him of his birth right to lead the clan, so Jiraiya was forced to go to Echigo Province and began stealing. In return, he taught him some ‘snake magic’. He was Jiraiya’s former companion and the giant snake had asked him to attack Jiraiya. Once, they were attacked by a man named Orochimaru. ![]() Jiraiya and Tsunade started their adventure together. She said that she was advised by a giant slug to find and marry a man named Jiraiya. When he found the beautiful Tsunade, he immediately fell in love with her, and soon proposed her for marriage. Jiraiya thanked the toad and continued his journey in search of Tsunade. The toad also advised him to search for a girl named Tsunade. It was grateful to Jiraiya for saving its life, and it offered to teach him some ‘toad magic’. The toad revealed itself to be a magical creature. Jiraiya beat the snake with his weapon and it fled away. One day, while travelling, Jiraiya came across a huge toad that was being beaten up by a huge snake. Then, everyone started calling him by the name of ‘Jiraiya’ (Young Thunder). After a few years, he became the leader of the hooligans. After the fall of the clan, the boy (now a young man) was left homeless. But soon enough, there was a fall of the Ogata clan. All the people in the clan expected him to accomplish great things. Once upon a time, a young boy was born into the powerful clan of Ogata.
